Is anyone else finding this season of The Bachelorette to be a struggle? I cannot really pin point why…I love Rachel, she’s great, so it’s not her…the men are super good looking…maybe it’s all a little bit, dare I say it, boring? Honestly, I think I am missing the drama!
I mean, for real, this week’s dates and roses were so predictable that I do not even think I needed to watch the episode to know what was about to go down. Poor Adam and Matt (at least I now know their names) have been place fillers for weeks. While they seem like good enough guys, more so Matt than over-the-top optimistic Adam, they never got any alone time or screen time so was anyone really on the edge of their seats wondering if they would get a rose this week?
Then the men that Rachel has left…Bryan, Peter, Dean, and Eric.
Bryan is the clear stand out. She is WAY into him, which I honestly don’t quite get. I think he is attractive, but there is this slickness to him that I find off putting. And those make out sessions are just…sloppy. Yikes… I have been saying it for weeks, he will for sure be the final guy, and I am even more certain of this after the previews make it seem like her family doesn’t like him.
Peter is hot…does anyone disagree? That salt and pepper hair and his scruff…wow. His personality, however, a little less than thrilling…He seems annoyed with the process, and I am still not really sure if he is really that into her. I think he might have come on this expecting to be top dog, probably because he always is in life, and now he has been on the sidelines for weeks. I think he doesn’t know how to handle it.
Eric is odd. I think he is cute, but he is a little eccentric. Has anyone else noticed when he sits he looks like a turtle? I can’t figure out if it’s his shirts being too big or just really bad posture. Hahaha I also have a hard time following what he is saying sometimes.
I do feel bad for him having to suffer through that 3 on 1 because he obviously had a stronger connection with Rachel than the other two, especially after his one on one. While I think that he and Rachel like each other, I think he will be the next one to go.
Dean, oh my Dean…at this point I think Dean maybe what is keeping me watching. My friends think that he looks like he should be in a boy band, and frankly that’s my type! #NYSNCFOREVER Besides his looks, I think he is so sweet. From his goofy little laugh and his random questions…No, Dean I don’t believe in the tooth fairy, I’m not 6…
His nervousness around Rachel is super endearing. And my heart broke for him when he finally opened up about his trepidation about Rachel going to his hometown. I am sad that this sweet guy has such worries over the way his family has become, it’s heartbreaking. While I think that Rachel truly cares for Dean, I think he will be eliminated at 3, unless his family is just even scarier than he lets on. I think that he may be a little too young for Rachel, but he could be perfect for me! 😉
Next week I am on vacation, so there will not be a Bachelorette post…I know you’re devastated! But follow me on Instagram, I will be posting all the beauty that is Naples, Florida!!
