Four hours of The Bachelorette this week! Honestly, as much as I love The Bachelorette, these four hours may have been a little bit of overkill…a girl has a life and it is summer! So, it may have taken me a while to complete it! The drama was good and men were dropping left and right. Frankly, however, there was not even close to enough Dean in these episodes!
The 2-on-1 date always brings the drama, and I probably could have guessed two weeks ago that it would inevitably be Lee and Kenny. It’s probably the only reason Lee lasted this long. Ugh…he is the worst. I think he truly is a Lee-zard hahahaha! While I found Lee despicable, how Kenny handled the situation was not my favorite. He should have ignored Lee completely and focused solely on Rachel, but I understand that that is probably much easier said than done.
While there was drama, it proved to be pretty anti-climactic because none of us believe, even with the previews, that there would be bloodshed between Kenny and Lee. I mean for real, Lee wouldn’t have a shot! When it came to giving Kenny the rose, I was surprised that Rachel did; but I think it was a way for Kenny to get back to the guy we actually liked a few episodes ago. His departure was so mature and respectful that it was the perfect way for this sweet single father with mega-man tears to go out.
Ok, so instead of continuing to recap the world’s longest episodes of The Bachelorette, I am going to talk about the men instead. A lot of guys went home this week…Iggy, Josiah, Anthony, Will, Lee, Kenny, and Alex -Rachel, the iron fist Bachelorette. Was anyone really surprised that Anthony went? Their date was BORING, he was nice but no one saw that lasting too long. And while I do love a man-bun, Alex also barely had a shot…And, Iggy was more of a drama queen than any man I’ve ever seen before so there was no surprise there.
My feelings towards Josiah were like a rollercoaster, and still I am not quite sure if I like him or not. There were good times, his background and the spelling bee. But then his arrogance got super annoying. I am still holding out hope that his arrogance was just his nerves coming out.
And then there was Will…He’s Just Not That Into Her…pretty much sums it up. Ironically enough, I think he friend-zoned Rachel. I just wish Will was honest about it, we all agree Rachel is great, but you could have said (maybe weeks ago) that you just weren’t feeling it!
Oh Geez I forgot Jack Stone!!! Creepy Jack Stone…Sometimes I watch this show and I think, “I wish a guy would look at me like that…” If anyone ever looked at me the way the Jack Stone looked at Rachel, I would run away screaming! And I Rach…I totally agree, laying in bed all day with Jack Stone would be my worst nightmare!
Now on to those remaining…Can I just say that it’s weird that there are still men there that I barely know their names? And we thought last season was bad with Whitney! Adam and Matt (I legit had to google their names!) are sticking in there, but can anyone else say place fillers?! Now on to the men who we actually know!
I think Rachel’s physical connection is by far the greatest with Bryan and Peter; she can’t keep her hands off of them! I don’t blame her with Peter, he is super-hot! Bryan, however, I find a little sleazy/slimy…I think it’s the kissing, soooooo much tongue. I also find him super intense. I’m saying it now, though, even though he is not my favorite, I think he will be the last man standing.
As you probably know by now, Dean is my fave. I think he is goofy, super cute, and all around likeable. These episodes were lacking without much of him! #MOREDEANPLEASE
Eric’s date was great! He got out of his shell and relaxed, finally! He was coherently speaking and everything! I think I like him… I find him a bit awkward and odd, however, not in a totally endearing way; but he is growing on me. Rachel seems to really like him, but I think his lack of relationship experience will hinder their relationship in the long run.
While there was a whole lot of The Bachelorette this week, I found myself a little less than entertained…I hope I am not losing interest!! God Forbid! I have a lot going on the next few weeks, I am travelling and have lots of school work to complete, so my blogs may be less than regular…Please forgive me! I will try and keep up with The Bachelorette posts though because I love sharing my useless opinions! Follow me on Instagram; I’ll be posting on there while I’m lacking some blog posts!
